Investment Project – Construction of 6 MWe facility for recovery of energy from municipal waste.
Technical and technological innovations are the distinctive features of the planned investment. The project is a unique combination of two well-known technologies: degassing (destructive distillation) of municipal waste and the generation of electrical energy and heat by combustion of gas produced in the technological process. Some electrical energy will be used for in-house purposes, any surpluses are to be sold to energy trading companies; heat generated during the electrical energy production process is to be sold to consumers. With 6MW of installed capacity, the facility will be positioned as one of largest alternative power installations built independently from the power industry.
The project is scheduled to begin at the turn of 2009, and be completed within approximately 15 months. The main assets of the facility, once it becomes operational, will include:
After the investment process is completed, the facility will be earning income from:
The Company has the location of the facility approved with a valid building permit for the construction of the facility on a 2.5ha plot of land owned by the Company. At present, the Company is focusing on arranging finances, awaiting the decision on investment grant. To finally close the stage of financial assembly, we are searching for an investor interested in over-average return on investment in an enterprise combining gains from alternative renewable energy with treatment of municipal waste.
